The Todd McNabb Memorial Scholarship was established in September 2014 when Todd passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.  In effort to honour his passion and desire for youth to embrace an extracurricular activity like hockey to build character and create friendships for a lifetime, while always recognizing the importance of education, the idea to create this scholarship fund was imagined.

Over the years, 45 students from across Ajax and Pickering were awarded $1,000 scholarships to support their continued education at university or college. Amazing!!!

In 2023, the scholarship committee voted to direct all remaining funds to the family of the late Jonny Foster. Jonny played and then coached with the Ajax Pickering Raiders and was one of Todd's son Cody's favourite coaches during his minor hockey experience.  Sadly, Jonny passed away suddenly in March 2020 at only 35 years of age.  We are pleased to be able to support his two daughters.
